John gets a 2lbs 15 ozs perch!
25th April 2007:
Taking advantage of a beautiful evening, John Wright, director of Broom Fisheries, decided to fish one of his five coarse waters for a while and test some new stock items.
You can see from the picture that he was not disappointed. He landed a whopping 2 lbs 15 ozs Perch on a red maggot. The fish was in superb condition and John was delighted with his catch.
He used a Preston Innovations Carp-IOS power 12.5 m pole with Preston Inovations reflo 0.13 powerline.
John said "We have added these poles to our stock because they are ideal beginners poles. We try all of our tackle before we sell it so I thought I would put it through it's paces."
John gives this pole a five star performance rating.
